Pearson loves their customers, and their technicians have some very memorable stories from their plumbing, heating, A/C and pest control house calls. Whatever your problem, it’s no problem for our Pearson guys!
"BEST THANK YOU EVER"
"Over the holidays, I was fixing a customer's sink while she was baking. We got to chatting about our favorite holiday treats and I told her was mine was pecan pie. It turns out she was baking pecan pies and she sent me home with a freshly baked pie! It was the best thank you ever." – Aaron

"YOU CAN’T SAY ‘NO’ TO A CUSTOMER!"
KINDNESS IS CONTAGIOUS
“One early summer morning, I was out at a customer’s home to spray for bees and remove the nests. I did the service and went in for the invoice.
The customer told me that she had made me blueberry pancakes. I told her that I couldn’t stay but she looked at me and said, “You can’t say ‘no’ to a customer!” I said, “Okay, no problem!”
So I sat down and I enjoyed blueberry pancakes with the customer. It was an unexpected but wonderful way to start the workday.” - Brian
LICENSE TO KILL
Brian, a service technician and field supervisor, has been solving Pearson's residential and commercial customers' pest control problems for over 10 years. He's an IL Licensed Pest Control Technician and helps dozens of homeowners each day combat ants, bees, fleas, cockroaches, silverfish, spiders and rodents.
A SOUTHERN FAVORITE
Hailing from the southeast, Brian is no stranger to hospitality. He admits, though, pancakes aren't his favorite breakfast. "I was raised in South Carolina. Biscuits and gravy are life!"
"BUY YOURSELF A SODA, SON"
SHORT & SWEET
“Our plumbing dispatcher sent me a call for a toilet repair. When I arrived at the home, the elderly homeowner led me to the bathroom and apologized on the way that I’d be working in the dark.
She said that the lightbulbs had burned out in the hallway weeks before, and she couldn’t reach them to change them. She told me she was all alone and didn’t have anyone she could call to help her. I told her I’d be happy to get my ladder and change those bulbs for her and proceeded to do so. As I was cleaning up, she pressed a quarter into the palm of my hand and said “Thank you. Buy yourself a soda, son.”
I didn’t have the heart to tell her sodas were now a dollar a can, but I’ll tell you what, just the genuine gratitude she showed me was worth a whole lot more to me than a truckload of cola.” - Michael
PLEASING CUSTOMERS SINCE 1982
Michael has been providing comfort and expertise to Pearson's residential and commercial plumbing customers for over 35 years. He's a devoted husband, dedicated volunteer, IL Licensed Plumber and Contractor, and Licensed CCDI Inspector. He was first featured in a Pearson Plumbing and Heating commercial in the 80s.
COMMERCIAL BLOOPERS & GOOFS
We originally planned on ending the TV commercial with Michael taking a swig of soda out of a glass bottle. At the shoot, we learned Michael does not drink soda! Michael was a good sport and took a few fake swigs.
